The HSE Social Inclusion Office funds the following posts to work with Roma, Refugee and LGBTI community members in Co. Wexford.

The Irish Wheelchair Association is a national organisation dedicated to the achievement of full social, economic and educational inclusion and integration of people with physical disabilities as equal, independent and participative members of their communities and society.

The Resource and Outreach Service is offered through an outreach centre in Ballycanew and through Lochrann House.

Referrals Referrals taken by contacting the FDYS main office (Mark / Gretta) for assistance and support in setting up a voluntary youth club in your area.

NEPS provides an educational psychology service in mainstream primary and post-primary schools, as well as special classes and special schools. NEPS is a service of the Department of Education and Youth and aims to support the personal, social and educational development of all children and young people through the application of psychological theory and practice in education.

Pieta provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.

The background to the Child Health Services is based on “Best Health for Children – Developing a Partnership with Families” (1999). The key outcomes of this strategy are;

That all children have the opportunity to realise their full potential

That remediable disorders are identified at the earliest possible date

Referrals Referrals are taken by contacting the project and registering.

Eligibility Criteria Young person must live in a RAPID area aged 11 years plus.

The Roma Equality Project is funded by the Department of Justice and Equality and its aim is to work with the Roma community in co. Wexford in the areas of employment and education and training that leads to paid employment.  This project is also working with Roma in Co. Carlow in addressing wider needs.
