The Traveller Inclusion Project aims to work with the Traveller communities throughout Co. Wexford to build Traveller capacity by providing support, information and referrals through culturally appropriate needs based services and programmes such as ;

  • Supporting capacity building and inclusion in decision making fora
  • Supporting Traveller families in Co. Wexford
  • Linking pre-school with early childhood education opportunities
  • Engaging young Travellers in youth work activities
  • Education and training
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Discrimination and racism
  • Advocacy and assessing services
  • Cultural identity
  • Identifying the important role of gender equality and LGBTI

The project workers role is to work with the Traveller community by providing services, programmes and activities to address the needs of the Traveller community, as they arise and continue to be identified. This is a coutywide service.

Opening Times

10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.  Times and days may vary depending on programmes or one to one supports that may be identified.

 

Referrals : Through culturally appropriate needs based services and programmes and one to one supports.
