STAR is a new two year pilot project running in the Enniscorthy / Bunclody area. The "National Traveller and Roma Inclusion Strategy 2017-2021" (TTRIS) has been rebranded locally as the STAR Project.
STAR stands for "Supporting Travellers and Roma". The project supports students and parents from the Traveller and Roma communities in education in both primary and secondary schools. The aim is to improve the overall educational experience for these communities.

- Promoting Traveller and Roma culture in schools.
Referrals : If a parent from the Roma or Traveller community would like the STAR Projects support in relation to their childs education, they can contact a member of the STAR team or contact their childs school teacher or a staff member and explain that they are interested in getting involved with the STAR project.
